So…. what a wonderful time, the New Year!

I love new… new outfits, new adventures, new recipes, new projects, new babies…yeah, you get it new is usually a very good thing.

But, sometimes with new, I load on expectations.  Lots of them… for New Year’s some brilliant person came up with the term resolutions???  Now resolution usually meant I looked behind, I resolve something in the past… and usually that look behind has something to do with my weight J

 Or, look back at some area I felt I wasn’t good enough… something that needed changed and improved.  Boy…do I really need to start another New Year reflecting at how I sucked at things in the past year?  Now,  I am all for change and improvement … but, truth be told…each year I start with setting myself up for failure??

So this year….din da da!!!… I am not going to look behind!  I am not going to try and resolve anything!  I am going to look ahead.  No set direction, just keep my eyes, my heart, my mind open to what lies ahead!

Here are a few pictures (new camera…happy me!!) from one of my wonderful wandering trips… no set direction…just kept my eyes open to what was in front of me.  Disclaimer:  I love pictures of things from the past, thing forgotten …but still these are new to me.

My new love is Pinterest …I love it so much I hate it!!!

Filled with tons of pictures of pretties, recipes, great ideas and a zillion things I want to make, wear ...and don't even get me started on those lose weight motivational body pictures...ughhh!

So, saw this on Pinterest

  changed a bit to fit my decor...

So easy…

1. empty picture frame without the backing or glass... have about a dozen of those :)
2. tree branches... I spray painted mine brown and copper for some depth and added a bit of  green to few branches
3. glue

….will definitely be making more of these!
